Hello everyone,
Just taking the chance to write up all the things I’ve enjoyed about fishing and to report a few bugs all in one place. First of all, fishing is pretty cool and a nice way to make some passive income, enough to supply my other professions which is quite nice. A list of all my favourite things are as follows:
- I’m really enjoying the “intermediary” fish that allow us to hunt for even better fish.
The Hallowfall Fishing Derby is a really good idea, a nice challenge with the added benefit of being started at the player’s convenience.Don’t know what’s happened here, it only awards 3 marks now?
- The environments are really beautiful, doesn’t sound like much, but boating around the island is a joy!
Now a few bugs and small quibbles:
- The Goldengill fish is still bugged when folk are sat down. If seated, the Goldengill buff will not trigger.
- The buff that allows one to fish for the Awakened Coelacanth is misspelled as "Coelecanth.
- Dilly Dally Dace cannot be placed in my fishing bag, what’s happening here?
- The Hallowfall fishing quest for Kaheti Slum Shark calls it an Azj-Kahet Slum Shark.
- It would be nice if I could see both my perception level and what it actually does.
- Could hats be added as a profession gear slot?
- Pretty please can I have a fishing boat that I can take a friend on? I was really excited about the loveboat when the quest had us fishing off of it, only to discover we can’t actually do that, please one fishing boat that can take passengers?
All in all, having a lot of fun, Delves are really cool, fishing finally feels impactful and the world of TWW is a delight to sail around!
