Yoyo, new aspiring fistweaver here, and before you say anything, I know the state of monks, but I want to play one anyway.
In any case, what is the most optimal way to use Teaching of the Ancient Monastery in PvE ?
How many extra kicks should I build up, or should I just press blackout kick on CD ?
Mistweaver is still decent and fistweaving is a fun specc. It’s not that bad forum makes it look like. Yes, it’s not shaman/discipline/holy priest but unless u push really high competitive content (not mythic raid/m+15 with 220+ ilvl equiped which is not competitive any more as gear makes it easier) any specc/class should work and your first target is to maximize your performance (like consistent 95%+ parses). If you do that and you still don’t like getting outhealed in the guild healing meters only then you should consider another class tbh.
If im getting correct on what u ask, the tl;dr version is:
1TP - 1BK for max healing
3TP - 1BK for max dpsing
obviously you can alternate while you play depending on if raid dmg is low or high.

Also make sure to not miss RSK hits. I mean like if RSK is going to reset next 1-2gcds and you play 3TP hold BK there and do some filler like Renewing Mist so you can cast BK exactly after RSK reload in case u rng reset it again.
