I have just switched from WW to MW and i am completely overwhelmed with what the rotation is ment to be for fist weaving healing … WoWheads guide is just confusing.
Could someone please simplify your 5 man rotation for healing.
I’d love to get into it but i just cant wrap my head around it.
Please consider what I’m about to say as the most friendly advice and not an insult of any kind, but…
Don’t play fistweaving.
I’m not saying that because you’re bad, because you’re just starting or because the role is just so complex to play.
I’m saying that because Fistweaving healing is 100% random and not competitive.
Mistweaver monk is the least picked healer for anything except PVP right now, so if you re-rolled thinking of pushing M+ or raiding, you should go back to ww. All heals for fistweave are RNG (meaning most of the time you will have 2 players - 1 with 10% hp, 1 with 99% hp and all your heals will go and heal the 99% one, letting the other die).
If on the other hand you are planning to use it for Pvp (2v2 is quite viable i hear), then the basic rotation would be:
Faeline stomp → while standing on faeline you build charges with tiger palm → rising sun kick → blackout kick (use blackout kick only when you have rising sun kick on cooldown as it has a % chance to reset it).
This is your most basic rotation. Additionally in between you cast renewing mist on your teamates and instant vivify (get a weakaura to see when you have it) whenever possible.
Again, for Pve don’t roll MW, you will just get frustrated and re-roll the moment you arrive to a point where nobody will want to invite you (if pugging).
