Why on earth battle net download/update speed is stuck at 50kbp/s while everything else on my end works as intended, this is beyond frustrating and sad. FIX IT ASAP
It’s really not Blizzard that’s the problem.
I am literally as I speak, downloading TWW to my new laptop, and I’m getting upwards of 30Mb/sec, which is pretty much maxing my connection out.
I can download full speed on steam as we speak and battle net cant go beyond 50kbps… its blizzard’s problem 200%
I didn’t know that Steam and Blizzard were in the same datacenter (they’re not).
Also, why am I getting max speed, with it saturating my connection, and not 50kbps, if its Blizzards problem.
Maybe they just like me! (they don’t).
Dude please, If i can download with full speed on everything else and not in battlenet the problem is NOT on my end, good for you being able to download as intended but for some people its not working.
Please point to the line where I said it was on your end, or cease putting your own words in other peoples mouths.
I said it wasn’t Blizzards problem. I did NOT say its your problem.
The biggest likelyhood is that its your ISP’s problem. Since Blizzard uses a torrent based CDN, and a lot of ISP’s throttle torrent streams, its entirely probable that your ISP is throttling the download.
My bad for that, still even torrents when enough peers are available it uses my max download speed and im still pretty sure its blizzard’s problem! this problem dates back to 2022. Also hearthstone can use my full download speed at 13mb/sec but anything wow related is stuck at 50kb/s so can you atleast acknowledge thats blizzards fault?
