Possibly a dumb suggestion, but hear me out.
I’m levelling up Alts (IMPORTANT, On Alliance), and by far the worst to level are the DPS only classes. Lock, Hunter, Rogue, Mage. Because the queue times for dungeons are so long. WoD dungeons had the longest, up to over one hour.
I do questing and bonus objectives in between, but it shouldn’t take this long to get into a dungeon. The XP is too good to turn down a dungeon. 1-90 and 100-120 especially.
I figured out a fix for it though. Which might or might not work.
Permanent Random Timewalking. And tank rewards should always have Augment Runes. This timewalking should be normal dungeons, so it can match max level players with low level players.
I know that party sync is a thing, but there is no reward for that (Inside the game. Depends on who you’re hitting on).
There also needs to be a guaranteed loot reward on dungeons after level 90. Just saying.
For levelling up, it would be a great help if Timewalking and normal dungeons were combined. It would reduce queue times and allow players to earn runes, gold, badges, etc.
Also, why the hell isn’t it alt friendly? why can’t we earn Azerite, Titan Residuum, end game loot (Or currency) whilst levelling? doing dungeons? It’s pretty bad game design in my opinion. Just mail a bag of that stuff you’d have earned, a full set of 430 gear. Rank 1 essences (Or account bound). Simple. Alt friendly. Win.
It makes me question what the game designer is doing with this game. I absolutely hate the end game content (Minus raids). It’s just flawed by a lack of care and listening to player feedback.
I look forward to Shadowlands, but not the aspect of being locked to a single class again because of bad game design. On top of the stupid pathfinder.
Sorry for getting ranty at the end.
