Latest patch broke Steady Flight Form for Druids. You were quick enough fixing the unearned cosmetic forms. Yet actual functionality in the game, that at least a whole 5 of us still use isn’t sorted. I can’t imagine it’s hard to change the code from 330% to 530% again.
20 days and counting without any fix still..
For anyone that has tried out Remix it becomes obvious that this was changed on purpose, but at a terrible cost to the regular mode gameplay experience because they couldn’t find a way to separately apply the change to Remix Druids alone.
Mining and Herbing in Remix behaves differently. Collecting Herbs was always possible while hovering in the air, but in order to perform Mining you had to stand on the ground (unsure anymore if it can be done while shapeshifted in Bird Form, possibly yes with profession perks).
Now in Remix you can both Herb and Mine while hovering mid-air which means you can freely collect without aggroing nearby mobs. For some unexplained reason Mining is interrupt-protected, similar to how Hunters cast Aimed Shot without fear of pushback, but at the same time Herbalism does not enjoy the same benefits.
Being told by blue this is a known bug sounds dishonest to me or it may just as well be a case of miscommunication between them and the developers, especially considering how lucrative gathering nodes were at the beginning of Remix (bronze, power and player XP included) and because there are no profession perks that would restore Vigor Points for Skyriding each time you collect a resource.
After what I said I hope you get a clearer picture on how flying around much faster in Steady Mode potentially breaks the game and very possibly beats every other method of collecting player power and leveling in combination with Heroic World Tier.
Tbh the earliest I see them reverting this change is in December with the unlocking of catchup mechanics for Remix, but the gains have already been nerfed so I don’t understand why this can’t happen much sooner.
I don’t play Remix. If it’s a mechanics issue like you assume i wonder why they can’t tell us, that they’re simply not able to separate Remix mechanics from retail mechanics. I mean, that would at least be some degree of communications of what’ going on, after all the bug reports and forum threads on that topic.
