Please god fix havoc
- FIX unperforming specs!!! and havoic is rly at the bottom !
- No point makeing new content when the classes and spec are so far between…
What’s the point of having many classes when only few selected classes and specs are viable?
ALL the classes i enjoy playing are all doing bad!!!.. none of the spec nor classes are even close to the rest!!
You think that would be common sense.
I for a long time this was the first time I had high hopes since they said classes feeling good is top priority since that’s what you use to interact with the game.
Guess that was a lie
It is not only about classes doing bad numerical but the design. I like demon hunter for flavor, lore, esthetic, mobility but not the damage rotation.
Until they finally design every spec to the extent it deserves they should full stop working on what ever system they want to throw our way and fix classes.
How can the community yell this for years with nothing in return?
The lack of communication is deeply frustrating. I think they should sincerely apologize.
- I want to know what was the original reasoning behind all the nerfs we got
- what kind of internal tests they concluded that made them think the numbers are OK?
- the damage of abilities are very low, why nerf the leech % if we don’t have the damage in the first place?
- again what kind of internal tests they concluded that made them think the numbers are OK?
This is a serious quality assurance issue. Please let me know where I can file an official customer complaint.
They don’t care about a lack of communication its there game you’ll play how they want simple as. I am guessing they want all DH’s to just go tank as there isnt any other options apart from rerolling. what kind of internal testing i don’t know my mind thinks of monkey’s in circus with the out come we have gotten on DH’s it’s sad and don’t see it being fixed anytime soon.
- make Circle of Hatred a base-line passive and replace it with * Nemesis - Active ability that increases the damage you do to the target by 20% for 1 minute. It has a 2 minute cooldown.
- If the target dies before the minute is up, you will deal 20% more damage to enemies of that same type, like humanoid, demon, etc.
- Increase the base line resource to 120
Those two changes will help a lot with single target as well with sustain.
- Make Glaive Tempest base line and replace it with Fell Barrage and rework it a way that the DMG to the primary target is higher then the secondary. This way Glaive Tempest would be the better skill for multiple targets and Fell Barrage be the preferred choice for a single target, which combined with Nemesis would fix that issues as well.
- Soul Rending - Make it 25% base line and 45% during Meta
- Make Unleashed Power base line and replace it with with escape mechanism, which removes all controlling effects, so we can actually go in arenas with confidence and chance.
- For the empty talent spot * Chaos Blades - Active ability that increases all damage done by x% (based on Mastery) for “x” seconds.
- While active, also increases auto-attacks damage by x% and causes enemies to drop Empowered Soul Fragments… there are no bloody demons in this expansion!
I feel sorry for activision, multi-dollar indie company that had to fire the QA and class development teams as well as some 1000 other people because they were going bankrupt giving out all those salaries.
It is what it is guys, they just don’t have the money to hire developers and class development leaders.

Blizzard has QA? Pretty sure the PTR/Beta players do it for free.
No fixing havoc? Ok, just nerf convokers, 2 buttons MM hunts, UDK pet damage, and other OP stuff, just make havoc spec playable, or give DH another dps spec.
I think Soul Rending must go back to way it was before. If we are so squishy at least increase our leech for gods sake.
I assume Blizzard wanted to go back to legion’s Demon hunter philosophy, I think they succeed I dislike shadowlands playstyle as I did in Legion.
I want to talk about how fun was BfA Demon Hunter and Furious Gaze mechanic.
It was the first spec in history of WoW which got access to 0,75s gcd through whole expansion. Demonic lasted 8s, furious gaze last 12s (+12s thanks to meta reset), I have also stacked haste enchant, trinkets and expedients in 8.3.
This whole composition of haste made a very special playstyle to me, I couldn’t tell what my blade dance cooldownd is, it was like random proc but with the few second warning: 8.3 gameplay: start of the fight 3s cd on blade dance, middle of fight 6s cd, after eye beam 4,5s cd, vita enchant furious gaze hero = 2s cd.
In none haste, demonic apetite build you got something similar but with different numbers.
Havoc was always dominant in 1v1 on global pvp (every lesser minion is free 20% heal), it made community against DH, it finnaly was viable on raid scene at 8.3 (8.0-8.2 you got only 1 DH for buffs) and it was hit with banhammer too damn hard.
Please unnerf furious gaze, make it +50% at least to reach 100% haste, also unnerf furious gaze stacking (Eye beam + meta + eye beam is refreshing duration, not adding up).
Please bring back havoc to my haste value.
well said Brother
