Reducing Honor gain by like 90%, you effectively killed PvP in this pre-patch.
By the time you have enough Honor for a single piece of HWL/GM item, you will have between 200 and 300 Marks from BGs, if not more. How does that even make sense?
Revert the change, lower the prices, or give us 2-3 months of pre-patch. This is ridiculous!
This is a #change I can get on board with. The old rate of honor made it somewhat approachable/possible to farm out some gear during pre-patch. New numbers are insanity levels of grinding, you’re talking hundreds of BG wins.
There is no way this is the original rate of honor points. I got all the pvp gear back in vanilla and it was nothing like this.
they delayed server downtime so people dont get their pre farmed marks, so now rollback people that could farm x10 honor
I really cannot understand how these things can even make it into the game, without somebody with a brain, taking a second to think what the changes actually does.

It’s the best week. First they didn’t calculated half the players honor for last week, leaving tonnes of players with nothing to show for a week of PvP farming. Then they make it so you need to be a R14 level farmer to buy the rank 14 gear in TBC, and you have less than 2 weeks to do it.
Even if the new extremely nerfed numbers are correct, it’s just a mindless change because nobody other than the full time PvP’ers can even afford to buy a pair of gloves now.
Yeah, the logic behind this makes no sense.
To get all of it, you’ll need 103,270 honor roughly.
Going by 250 honor points average.(Post nerf)
To get this, you’d need to win 413 times
In which, you’d get 1239 tokens in this time period.
How exactly does getting 1239 tokens vs this little honor make sense exactly?
Unless we get more honor in TBC / TBC costs are lowered… it makes no sense xD.
You are supposed to turn in marks for honor not hoarding them in your bank. Also you usually farm honor during weekends due to increased gains. Play the game like ur supposed to do instead of hodling and whining

Unless there’s some quest that’s nowhere near any of the BG people aside from the one where you need one of each mark.
Or are you referring to classic WoW as opposed to TBC WoW?
TBC pre patch actually did give that ammount of honor they hotfixed it at lvl 70 to give this lower ammount of honor all they have done is make pre patch worthless.

Its no longer physically possible to get enough honor for ful HWL even if you wanted it. For me at the current rate of Honor gain it will take me 130-160 hours to get 2x 2h weapons. 10-11 hours every single day of Pre-patch. Thats 40k honor, Even if you grind 24 hours a day for 2 weeks you couldn’t get all the gear, this clearly is wrong. WTF are they thinking?
I played my lock in the original pre patch and got the caster weapon and OH and theres no way I done 100+ hours back then

Turn marks ? Are you retarded do you know how much you get from marks ? Its like around 100 honor for three marks it still doesnt change a damn thing… So as a Aliance you will probably never get that amount of marks bcs horde is winning like 9/10 so you need to win 3 to get one turn in for marks and you will get honor that doesnt even match the bg win ??? Who is whining ? This is just nonsense. Hope you can get all your gear bcs you can play 24/7. 
And you cant turn in all your marks at once btw So you are just making yourself sounds stupid.
Met a great horde in my first AB today, they took 5 bases so GG to them. The honor received from this pummeling = 20. 20 honor was all we got, and they got 220. What even is the purpose of this nerf? To have people get such a distaste towards pvp that the queues become mind boggeling long? The gear would be used as a nice start for TBC, and most of us won’t even get many pieces due to work schedules. Now with the nerf I don’t see myself getting any pieces as it’s just not imaginable. GG to whomever at Blizzard who made this humongous retardation decision. I hope you get farmed by a glad team for the rest of your days.

I got my 100th mark in less than 6hours in AB yday without problem I also got 60 Av marks and now I’m gonna do the WSG farm once I’m at 100 marks I’m waiting for 70 so that I can start turn in some marks for easy honor 100x 400 is 40k honor I need 79k for my 70 pieces which I will get farming the rest of my 39k honor which would be even less since I never counted the honor I already farmed it basically takes 1 weekend to get full pvp gear at 70.
No the honor gained are fine like this having 2k honor each win is Just absurd I wouldn’t mind it tho since I would be done in less than a day with full pvp gear but long term it’s bad for the game making items not feeling special.
