I hardly use it anywhere.
The only time it gets a bonus is fast viv target in 5-7 min. Do we need current mastery ? I think no.

You either play Fistweaving, or you get OOM and get off the key. Cuz u cant do damage and heal at the sam time.

If u play with Ancient Teachings of the Monastery u cant control the outgoing healing, cuz 10k rsk healing eat tank with 98% hp. bravo.

You cant play otherwise, because your efficiency drops in the deeeps. Why not make mastery usable?
You gave the opportunity, but you did not give the tool.
Mastery is usable, stacking it can double and triple you amount of healing it does to the point where it will be your highest healing ability on the metters.
Fistweaving is not like playing a Holy Paladin where you’re locked into melee otherwise you can’t generate resources, we can play either ranged or melee so we are very flexible.
Sometimes turret casting is required, sometimes Ancient Teachings will heal enough, and most of the times you’ll have to swap between both depending on the incoming damage.
I do agree with something though, Ancient Teaching needs to focus the lowest HP ally rather than random one, and Mana costs need to be reviewed. As a guy who plays all healers, the one I struggle the most with mana is by far Mistweaver.
that only works for low difficulty content. with a fistweaving build, without tear and mana tea your turret healing will suck and you’ll go oom. the only time you’d do soothing+direct heal is to save a tank who’s at 10%.
the biggest problem with our mastery is that it’s a single target heal and it’s from a time when you could spam direct heals without worrying about mana. in the current expansion it’s nearly useless anywhere except maybe pvp
