Hi Blizzard devs,
Can you please do something about rogue’s lackluster damage? Rogue’s literally can’t kill anything anymore. You did it, pushed rogues to the dirt. Had a disc priest who could outheal 2 rogues, didn’t die before an arms warrior came to the rescue with useful damage.
The underlying problem is STILL that you insist on DPS classes having equal DPS. This can’t happen. See what happens when ret paladin has same damage as arms warrior? You made them gods. You have to start balancing with a perspective of pure vs hybrid classes. A rogue is a pure class. We ONLY have dmg, if you take that away from us we have no function. We can’t heal or buff our friends, we can’t bubble. Our only function is to assassinate, you know, the class fantasy of the rogue.
In the beginning of DF you made all classes super bursty. Now you have made sustain the new king of pvp. But the problem continues; when the meta is bursty, classes like rogue and hunter dominate. Now that sustain is king, we see classes like warlock and self healing gods like paladin overtake the meta. Can we have both? Let the classes that thrive on sustain be good at that, and let the pure classes like rogue be good at being assassins, why must we make these generalized rules that only favors specific classes?
Fix rogue’s. We don’t have anything going but damage. And it should be possible to hit something in between 1 stun kills and wet noodle damage. I want my main class to be relevant.
