Tentacle Slam only applying Shadow Word Madness on other players instead of VT and SWP or VT more times than it applies the dots it’s actually supposed to apply.
Idk how many more times I need to report these awful, frustrating bugs in game.
You forgot tentacle slam 25% madness overriding madness instead of stacking. If this isn’t a bug, it’s a really weird way of making the class feel more awkward and less new player friendly(contrary to their Midnight design philosophy) for an excuse to add some “skillcap” to the class. The tooltip should at least emphasise and state that it shouldn’t stack if it’s not going to.
I’m pretty sure fixing this alone would be enough to boost up everyone’s dps by a significant margin, even for the toptier players, since then you won’t have to awkwardly delay slams or madness so you can line up a slam → madness.
Apparently according to the priest discord, it’s not bugged. But I do find that hard to believe as it turns 3 25k ticks into 6 3k ticks. I’ve even seen it with 5 ticks remaining… In no way does that redistribute the remaining damage. Like 25.000x3/6=12.5k not 3k
I’ve also seen the damage not increase as I’ve spammed 3 casts back to back
