I have the same issue, the mouse is getting stuck especially after I accept/complete quests at npcs.
At first I thought that my mouse has a problem.
Have to +1 on this. The little update is making my cursor flip out, and as a healer this is beyond frustrating.
I’m using a Naga Chroma - I reset my mouse, re-calibrated it and nothing works.
Dude I have exactly the same. I thought my mouse was dying…
At some point I also thought it was a program on the background “freezing” my mouse.
I play wow on windowed modus. Maybe I should try full screen to see if that helps
No problem with my mouse has a logitech g502
Oh I feel relieved now. Thought it was time for a new mouse.
wait what? I unironically thought it was time for a new mouse because my right click kept clicking twice at random places but now after seeing this thread I checked my mouse outside of WoW and realised I don’t have any issues
Old bug, blade dance has the tendency to do this as well
Thanks for the topic. I was considering buying a new mouse already since these issues started. Though it’s busted again (I go through 2-3 mice a year)
I have the mouse problem but also this.
I play with sound on so I notice sometimes an ability just animates, triggers GCD, spends resources… but does NOTHING. No hit, no damage, no SOUND of hitting obviously. On my DK it happens with Obliterate. On warrior with Bloodthirst, etc Don’t think it happens with spells, but I’ve seen it with physical classes.
Blizzard removed fullscreen mode. There is no true fullscreen any more, just a windowed mode without border that occupies the whole screen.
An update just went out. I’m no longer getting the mouse stuck on NPCs/objects/nameplates.
Can confirm, seems to be fixed. Thank you Blizz!
Same problem here. Click something and move your mouse immediately after. The arrow will bounce a few times and then move. The only way to prevent it seems to be to click, wait a second, move mouse. Annoying at the least…
Edit: Bug seems to be fixed with the update from July 23rd. Yay!
omg I thought it was my mouse the whole time, I’m so glad I’m not the only one, I kept changing ports and everything lol
nvm, it seems they hotfixed the mouse sticking funny stuff now.
Congrats blizzard.
So it wasn’t just me then, thought it was the battery first but it only happens in wow.
Which was stupid as hell. I haven’t been able to get my game running as smooth as it did with fullscreen ever since they removed it. Even if I have 144 fps, the gameplay looks choppy.
Don’t you mean getting mousey?
Isn’t there a hardware mouse setting or has that been removed.
Maybe there is a hidden setting for it.
Still no fix?
This has been fixed like 2 weeks ago.
