Dear Blizzard,
We know that you know that we like competition. From a broad, guild or realm or group wide point of view, down to singular race of who is going to win that e-meter between two warlocks or mages.
By introducing a buff as overpowered as Power Infusion (and later the Fae Guardians) you’ve created an INSANE amount of toxicity and negative experiences across the board. Nobody likes it apart from priests who are starting to delve in selling it for real money (I kid you not).
While the philosophy of it being ‘just a buff’ is somewhat understandable, you were pretty quick to suppress the kyrian druid bond which was estimated to have the same value as PI.
If not an outright removal of the ability to be cast on other players, how about toning it down to human levels?
Healers do not dps (except maybe the Kyrian Priest Covenant ability or dunno) so buffing the group for the dps they do not do is quite fair isnt it?I do not think it needs to be nerfed at all.
I see so many people on the forums complain about pi toxicity, yet me being both fae & holy priest offer to give it in every pug group im in, nobody even responds, only responses i get is ‘‘dunno, use it on who can benefit it the most i guess’’
Heck i even Pi the tank in low keys for the fun of it and nobody seems to care
I was only pested for my PI only once in a higher key, a quite strong warrior questioned it why I keep it for myself (because I have a macro for it). Other than that, nothing, and I hope it stays this way
I am a priest and i do not like it because i’m pressured to give it to a mage or warlock most of the time
Maybe i really should start selling PI usages
Kyrian Resto Shaman with Vesper Totem and Mikanikos Soulbind can do some nice damage on trash pulls if the group behaves and avoids… well, avoidable damage.
What confuses me more is that the spec icon is Elemental, not Resto. But hey, what do I know
