Since models were updated in WoD, playing undead male was never the same.
The new animations are a downgrade (R.I.P old male direct casting animation), and while I can live with the all of the changes, I can’t digest the running animation. The old running animation wasn’t good mind you and I thought it couldn’t get worse but I was wrong.
The current Undead male running animation is visual pollution and makes no sense. They run with their arms barely moving.
Just because they are dead doesn’t necessarily mean they are 95 yrs old.
Please fix, and also give them upright option while you’re at it.
I think the updated animations and running animations are good overall, especially for Void Elves and Blood Elves. However, the moment when I first saw Undead animations back when they were updated in WoD, I did not like it as original. I agree that updated Undead animations, also Male Worgen animations could be made better.
I see where you’re going wrong. When you say, “I put my foot in my mouth”, it’s not meant literally. Less feet-in-mouth should cure that digestion problem.
I have to disagree on the velf and belf running animations, especially for males, they just seem really stiff around the shoulders. I don’t know what’s the issue there but it just looks really off to me.
But yeah agree on the undead animations tho, one reason I couldn’t really get into playing one.
I agree for Male Void Elf and Blood Elf running animations, but I think for Female Void Elves and Blood Elves, updated animations are one of the closest one to the original, and some animations like jumping and piroutte spin actually look improved in comparison with animations of old character models.
