Im having an issue where my camera keeps adjust back to behind me when im moving, even when i have it turned off in options. Tried deleting wtf and interface folder, scan and repair, but it still persisting.
Im also noticing that if i stop, turn camera and then move forward, my character automatically moves straight ahead from that camera position.
Fixed with the solution posted in this reddit thread.
EDIT: my problem has been fixed. One thing I did was I logged on to all computers I had played my account on and deleted the WTF & cache folders because I thought that maybe something was pulling a weird setting from of the computers (1 desktop and 2 laptops). I am pasting below the text instructions from the Blizz customer service. After doing these my camera is fixed and I can control my characters like normal again.
"-log into the affected character -type the following commands into the gamechat, one line at a time and each confirmed via the Enter-key:
/console synchronizeConfig 0 /console synchronizeSettings 0
-log out and fully exit the game -locate and delete the folder that contains your characters locally stored variables, it should look something like “World of Warcraft_retail_\WTF\Account\numbers here}{Realm-Name}{Character-Name”
-start WoW again, log into the affected character once more -use the following commands:
/console CVar_reset /console CVar_default /console synchronizeConfig 1 /console synchronizeSettings 1 /console ReloadUI
you have to repeat the process for each affected characters."
