Flasks are a meme for melee

The 50 ap flask seems like a meme compared to the 180 spell power flasks, why implement something so lacklustre. Its less than 5% extra attack power for most people vs an extra 20% of caster spell power.

Probably because AP users usually already get a lot AP from a primary attribute like STR and AGI already.
Imagine if all your AP had to come from AP on items like it mostly does for casters. Then your items (and Flasks) would need to provide way more AP than they do for you to deal damage.

Think of how many ways there are to buff raw stats and direct AP buffs for melee and how many spellpower buffs there are for casters.

That’s just balance addition to previos flask effects, which was 150 sp for casters (so +30 difference with new flask), and 0 for melees because they didnt have any dmg flask, so now you have +50 ap compared to before. All classes were balanced to previous flask SP/AP values, so if you increase AP too much compared to what was before (when SP with new flask was increased not significantly compared to prev), melee will be buffed too much COMPARED to before then casters
