Flexi Raid System

I was curious about how everyone would feel towards a flexible raid system for SoD?

For me, SoD is about chilling with a like-minded community and enjoying medium-difficulty content that classic has to offer.

I decided to take on the role of raid leader in a fairly new guild as I like to raid at scheduled times. However, in these early stages, it’s been extremely difficult to gather a team of 10 players all able to attend at the same time and wanting to play the a specific role.

Usually, we’re able to pull together a run of about 7/10, having to search externally to fill the last few places. I’ve been slightly shocked at how often one of the three turns out to be completely toxic, either just logging out after the boss they wanted or raging in chat (usually at something dumb like DPS during the bubble phase of GHAMOO-RA).

I fully understand why people want to keep the lock ID, but in my opinion, allowing the raids to scale between 7 and 13 players would allow a lot more flexibility in communities like mine.

Any thoughts?

Well I hope they utilize the flex raid to give options on how to raid with smaller groups. If the system works like 10-30 (or more), it would be the best way forward for (almost) everybody.

Sometimes me and my homeys are 11, would be cool if SoD was brought into the last decade. Ain’t hurting folks to take 11 people into BFD.
