Will this ever be fixed? Basically I wanted to take a flight from Victor’s point in Twilight Highlands to Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands. But instead of going directly I had to go back to Highbank in Twilight Highlands first because reasons, then through Loch Modan before going directly to said destination.

I have all FPs in Easter Kingdoms so to me this is ridiculous? It’s like a taxi driver who needs to make a stop first at his house cause the missus needed milk for a cuppa and a packet of cigs?

Personally I quite like the quirks in the flightpath system in the original continents. It’s not like you really have to pay attention to it anyway.

Twice I ended up flying under the map and a few more times through mountains, ended up at completely wrong flight master most of these times!

In Eastern kingdom and Kalimdor I always just click to move and tab in or out because the paths are weird (some even shortcut and teleport you to the location making it faster but still.).

Also day before Korrak I got on the boat in Boralus and it took me to the AV entrance. Some of these travel methods are funky lol

Two times while on a flight path I went Alt + F4 instead of Logout. Next time I logged in my char dropped to the ground.
I did not like that.

It’s not perfect but I tend to totally AFK on a flightpath. Often I’m persuing the forums when I’m taking long journeys.

In the old days it would take 15-20 mins to fly from one end of Eastern Kingdoms to the other.

If you find a route that is really illogical you can always give feedback in game.

I belive

Flight paths designed as trip of cool places when flying wasn’t available or flight path were faster than current mount speed.

It’s been same since ages.
