Dear Blizzard, please reduce some restrictions in COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED at least until you fix your own version of Floating Combat Text.
Or let us, the community help with that. We all understand that your only developer is super busy with the tickets We can step in, there’s plenty of devs, including me, that can help in this.
I don’t really want to be the mouthpiece for entire wow community, but your FCT Sucks no hard feelings.
In general i feel playing WoW is like living in Russia, we impose sanctions on anything imported from outside, now you are forced to eat local, wether you like it or not
Honestly just ditch all the dumb addon restrictions what where they thinking, gap to big between old and new players ? its so big because wow still does not have their own addon up, because they do not recommend addons, instead they just restricted it without fixing the actual problem.
People do not want addons ? fine their choice, do not let everyone suffer because of them, wow is terrible without addons simple as that.
Man i just want MSBT , since the similars are buggy…respect to the people that try and create something similar , i see like everyday updates …but always something doesn’t work 100% (missing hits, icons can be whatever etc.) and they are not to be blaimed ofc. They try.
At least if blizz made the numbers not appear on my char or on the opponent/boss/mob would be a start.
Imagine i play SP and it has at least 5 hits per sec (3 dots, whatever i cast , if have pets out , if i have proc trinket or the neck embellishment) , go figure what did what…not to mention with multidot your scream is numbers all over the place.
I do play with ZSBT , which is similar but it misses actions it seems.
Cooldown manager lets you track many buffs except Strength in Adversity a buff that you get like 3% parry per hit up to 5 i think for prot paladins, this buff cannot be tracked currently, even tho they said we be able to track everything.
Also some people have problems with numbers so floating combat text addons can fix this by showing percentages or numbers that are easily readable for those types of people, ignoring this problem will just make the game worse for these types of people, see it like a handicap.
