I just dusted of my old druid and specced it with Fluid Form.
It says that Mangle can be used in ANY form and instantly transform me into Bear.
But it doesnt work because I am apparently passified while in flightform.
Feals like it takes away the purpose of Fluid Form and feals more like a bug… or a joke.
They have some really strange restrictions with that flight form, cant cast hearth stone for example.
Weird stuff.
/cancelform or /cancelaura is your friend.

Why is our normal and previously used flight form slower than the other?
Why?
What justification for that exists?
Is it to force players to start using the other form and phase out the old one? That is the only reason i can come up with.
The stick rarely works when there is a carrot on offer.
I believe it’s because of the increased movement speed on flying mounts, if the bird could fly as fast as the flying mounts do now it’d be pretty OP to go from running speed to flight speed in an instant.
So they add a delay to satisfy their MAU aims of slowing everything down. Everything else has a delay. Including switching flight forms. 4 seconds to do that. Hearthstoning has a CD bar. It is not for loading the next area as there is a separate loading screen for that.
There is no reason to have our old birds and flying method be slower than dragonriding. What is the reason to have us slowed down?
It is a punishment and the stick, rather than the carrot, to get you off of your mount.
They do not want people using the old method. Bull ox.
