Flurry Strikes bug with Spinning Crane Kick Brewmastrer

I was testing flurry strikes on Brewmaster and how to proc it faster and noticed that the spinning crane kick, which for Brew has a 25 energy cost, doesn’t count towards the 300 energy spending pool. it affects the charred passions playstyle since you want to use the spinning kick but it doesnt count towards proccing the flurry strikes

I was about to make a post about it, it is actually worse than that, it DOES contribute to it, but does not proc your flurry strikes!
Which makes brewmaster shadopan useless in pve. Because here is the main issue happening : it contributes, and if I cap at the 300 energy spent BUT I use spinning crane kick to make flurry strike happen, it will not happen AND the energy spend will go back to 0 and you have to fill up 300 energy again, which means in dungeon you’d end up not having any flurry strike for minutes before you luckily press another spell that makes you reach 300 energy spent.
Which means the only way to do packs as shadopan right now is having a weakaura or counting all your energy and use another spell when you get to 300 to have flurry strike work. Because no one sane would do packs without spinning crane kick in the rotation (if you play press the advantage it’s worth cause now you only rely on using a keg smash at the good moment).

Well this is what happens to me upon testing

edit : now on today SCK just does not count at all for the progress, very confusing.

I agree I found the same bug. Expel harm also doesn’t count towards the 300 energy.
Please fix the spec is not performing as it should.

Also noticed the same thing. After a bit of testing, only 3 abilities can proc Flurry Strikes: Keg Smash, Tiger Palm, and Crackling Jade Lightning(for what ever reason).

In the current state the Shado-Pan tree feels almost unplayable due to not being able to fully utilize half of the energy spender abilities, it feels like a waste not to press Spinning Crane Kick as well as Expel Harm, and you really do need those.

Waiting for a fix and not touching this meanwhile…
