Why we even need to get another achievement for flying? Can you just stop? No one want this.

Edit: no point to argue. It’s a new zone and they just want us to wait a bit to explore the zone on the ground. Most don’t have a problem with it. At least they decided not to lock it behind a reputation.

My apologies. I thought WoD was released in 2012, then I googled.

And even then, you could fly in all of WoD - even the new zone (both were released 6.2).

I don’t know why it needed an achievement when they could have just made it an unlock part of the story like they did with mounts in the Maw.

I just cant do it anymore blizzard, just lets us get The flying by doing The story or dont lets u’s fly in The zone. The treasure are so stubit that i just dont want to do it. I hate jumping puzzles.

So, so true. Blizzard has gone to a right direction during Shadowlands tho. WOD, Legion, BFA’s Pathfinders are gone and Shadowlands flying was obtainable by grinding Renown and doing short questline. I really hope tho that in next expansion we will return to something it use to be:

  1. Either just buy flying when your char reaches certain level, or;
  2. Let us open flying by going through the main storyline.

Reputation, Renown or whatever grinding should be gone for good.

The problem is that they moved flying from week 3 to week 4 of 9.2. This is a completely arbitrary change.

To be fair even if they give you flying right now
zone is empty there is nothing much to do
so what do you want to do with that flying?
You wanna circle ZM instead of oribos? :smiley:

Flying would make it easier to navigate the zone, reach the rares before they die and collect treasures faster. Not to mention it’d be nice to be able to explore the zone from above.

I am not even doing The zone because i dont have flying. Have given up on it.

Actually BFA pathfinder is still there for some reason, causing a ton of confusion for all the newbies that purchase flying but can’t use it since they’re locked to BFA in their first playthrough.

So that means you don’t need flying cause you don’t engage in that content :smiley:

I have everything else complete, only the two parts which are campaign gated are left which is a bit annoying. I don’t mind using ground mounts, it’s just impossible to reach a rare on the other side of the map before it’s dead… so it’s just pure luck if you are near a spawn.

And did you try to go to that rare spawn and then hop to a group that just posted this rare in to group finder?
cause i was doing that in korthia when it was current and i easily did my korthia rares under 1hour because people were posting rares all the time
it was so easy to play it in group
ZM is not different i did my 10 first rares this way i just stand on the rare spawn
find a group that posted specific rare and kill it

I have no problem with it.

Enjoy the zone without flying for the time that you can. It really is a great experience.
