I really think that we are at a point now where people with a max level character should be able to fly at max speed on their alts from the start. What is the value of making everyone feel the pain of slowness until level 40? I get not flying at the start of new expansions (current expansion is different ofc) so that you explore properly and take in the environment etc, but seeing the same shrubbery for the 20th time is not exciting
Well, maybe not from level 1. But I certainly don’t see the need on 3 different Flight speed upgrades.
But then, I don’t need to level anymore characters now, so that’s not my game anymore.
There’s only two now with Artisan Riding removed (however, my boosted druid only got its equivalent 280% flight, weirdly enough).
Unless by the 3rd upgrade, you refer to Dragonriding.
I don’t see the point either - it’s sort of a vanilla thing to earn faster and faster mounts. Or… not really, back then, having any mount was a privilege by itself because of how much even 60% riding would cost.
Anyways… I’d agree on lowering the caps, at least for slow flight, my alts had a lot of pain leveling in Chromie till 30.
No, I was probably just thinking of Ground Mount skill at level 20.
If it’s an alt and your max level main wasn’t boosted, I see no issue in allowing alts to fly at level 10. Call it a loyalty reward for sticking around Azeroth for so long.
Noticed the same issue. It is quite annoying to be honest.
