Flying in BFA

Hi,

Is there any news on if Flying in BFA will become automatic - or at the very least, the removal of the reputation requirements for the pre-requisites for flying in BFA? Having to farm old reputation to just fly in a region that hasn’t been current content any time recently isn’t leading to a pleasent player experience.

I can see this has been requsted a fair few times already and there is never a reply or comment on it - any chance we can get one please?

There have been speculations going around that BfA pathfinder requirement will be removed once Dragonflight pre-patch comes out, as it is hitting it’s “2 expacs ago” time then, and previous pathfinder requirements were also removed 2 expacs after they were current.

I just checked and currently on the beta, you can fly in BfA zones without the achievements, so I’d say it remains a safe bet, but as you say, there has been no official communication around this. That being said, I’m pretty sure at this stage it will be removed as a requirement come pre-patch next week (or maybe for the 2nd phase of pre-patch in November).
