Why is the 1000G riding flying mount slower than 700G riding ground mount?
What are you complaining about? There are a lot of airplanes slower than formula one racers.

Complaining? I am not… Just asking why it is slower. There must be something wrong with your mindset if you view a simple question as a complaint.
It’s basically a choice of sorts.
Sure it’s 60%, but you can fly over anything with it, which is quite a payoff, and can reach places like Elemental Plateau.
So, if your way is straightforward and clear to your goal, the walker will be more useful for you, but if you bump into a million hills or swarms of enemies you can’t pass safely, take wings.

Yea, thought the same, that it is useful only to cross enemies/mountains/lakes, but otherwise it’s better to use the ground mount.
Thats exactly the point.
Blizzard didn’t want to make the 100% groundmount redundant the instant you hit 70, so before you get the 280% flymount, there’s still a point in using the 100% groundmount.
