Flying ripoff

Cant fly in the maw, cant fly in korthia, cant even fly in Oribos. It is such a low thing to do to release flying at the exact same time as they add new zones wich ofc you cant fly in, and since thats where people will be most of the time we actually never have flying at all. It is amazing to see the lenght they go through to make sure we dont fly. Then there is the WB in the maw… like really, what is it with blizzard and their sadistic way of putting aworld bosses behind 200 super elite mobs ? I thought ah how nice now i can finally fly over all mobs to the madraxxus WB and what happen they add a new copy paste version WB in the maw wich ofc u cant fly to so here we go again

Good news.

Maw will never be a flying zone. So you won’t be disappointed when the new new zone shows up next patch and you then will be able to fly there without the need for it.

You can use flying mounts to exp your alts or collecting herbs/orbs etc.
Btw. they wrote it from start that you will not able to fly in Korthia and Maw. I think even ground mounts outside “special” are allowed only because huge critique from players.

the only thing flying nowadays is for alts… leveling or catching up renown with WQs

because let’s face it, does anybody still do anything in the old zones except going from flight point to dungeon?

in the past at least were able to fly in the city lol

I can understand not flying in The Maw, but I cannot understand why we cannot fly in Korthia, when there are flight points to and from the zone, something we do not have with The Maw. Either way I am glad we have flying in the original SL zones, as it will make getting chests and getting to those challenging quests and world bosses much easier.

I’m done in all other zones means flying is kinda useless to me.

the whole game is just a shambles , broken quests , far too many mobs in the maw and in every other zone , torghast is a joke , in fact the whole expanion should be deleated , now i have 16 month wait to see what crap will arrive in the next expansion, it cant possibly be worse than this shadowlands rubbish

I don’t have dungeon portals (yet), so I do like that I can just fly to a dungeon from the nearest engineering portal point, and that I do not need to use a taxi at all (unless my wormhole is on cooldown).

Loving it. Also makes it easier to do some WQs and callings and whatnot from time to time. And alts, of course, while leveling. I guess. My alts never leave Oribos while leveling, so flying doesn’t matter much to them.

Honestly, I don’t even consider shadowlands, bad.

The expansion in comparison to BFA, isn’t worse.

However, we don’t have much to do, and when you don’t have much to do, things begin to be a lot more visible than usual. So you notice the cracks. You notice the sh%tty story which is a much worse ripoff version of infinity war.

You notice the systems that are specifically designed to put you in this grind loop of content which immediately becomes redundant the next patch.

You notice the content which basically is repeating the same exact dungeons over and over again with 1 new affix, as your only source of content for mythic+.

And when they are all summed up, you notice how terrible it has become.

And unfortunately, a new expansion isn’t going to save wow this time.

2 bad expansions in a row is too much. one bad and one mediocre at best after is still too much.

They do this trend since wod nothing new tbh.

Careful now, that’s what we all said in BFA, and we know that Blizzard seems to be like: "Hold my  "

Korthia is… how should I say it… not the biggest.
Actually its small. Really tiny
You don’t really need flying there, there is nothing you can’t reach on the ground within a minute. Fel, I was at the end of the “map” and the rare spawned at the other side (thx by the way for everyone who anounce a spawn  ) and and had plenty of time to reach it. There are two maybe three anyoing peaks you have to use some creativity to reach it, bot owerall? Its like Oribos; you don’t need flying there. The only thing you maybe would need it, that floating rock, but we have built in flight service to there and back, so…
Surre would be nice, but I can’t live without it
As for the Maw… horrible place, since the 20x soul quest no longer gives you Renown and if you maxed out the souls, 500 Anima is laughable in comparison the Anima shower in Korthia… aside from the Covenant invasion (a mount take you right there from Ve’nari by the way) anyone even visits that hellhole?

One does need to fly in Korthia, due to all of the mobs and the fact some chests are in insane places, not to mention as everyone is farming mobs now, it can be slow to get to a rare if it is at the other end of the zone where you are. As for The Maw, I agree its pretty bad but its supposed to be hell in WOW and I doubt we can fly in hell, I would love flying there a well but would take flying in Korthia over The Maw.

The 20 x soul quest does not give you renown because you get renown from the 1000 weekly anima quest and the new meta jailer quest instead. Remember that renown is capped at 2 per week, do you really think Blizzard would make it easy for you to earn renown and actually get caught up on the story quicker?? Of course not!

People still don’t get that global flying is the enemy of open world exploration and is destructive toward the experience players recive when intereacting with open world.
