Flying toggle?

I’m probably being dense (more than probably) but I have no idea how to switch flight from dynamic to static (or back). I’ve searched for a number of terms and looked at the in game options etc. and can’t see anything.

It’s more than likely me being dense, but how do I toggle it. I’m currently using different keybinds for both types of mounts but I’d rather mount dynamic mounts (dragonriding) as standard and then just modify to get on a regular mount.

You can’t yet.

Only dragon-riding mounts can use dynamic flight in old zones. That will change with TWW pre-patch.

I thought the toggle was alt + f4

You can also use them as normal mounts in old zones below level 60, when you can’t use dragonflying yet.

I thought that was how you joined a guild… :joy:

Edit because the website is being super glitchy and won’t let me post unless I edit.

Unless I junk the add on I’ve been using and keybind a couple of slots to put whatever mounts I want to use in, I’m guessing what I’m currently doing is the best way then.

My ‘mount ‘ key (bound by me ) is defaulting to a static flying mount so I’ve set ‘mount + shift ‘ to mount whatever dragon riding mount I’m using. I’m going to have to look at the add on or find a similar one one to see if I can get on a dragon riding mount unless I use the modifier (currently the other was around ) because my brain has got used to hitting shift to get on a regular mount since I got regular flying in the Dragon Isles.

I was very confused about this on my level 60 paladin. My dragonriding mounts just behave as normal flying mounts until you visit Valdrakken once.

That is good to know, thanks. Good job we have a FP on alts! Wonder why no heirloom map yet.
