As a casual player I think it is slow and boring.
It needs to speed up and pew pew pew those shots.

Once again I see a thread that surely will end up being a diskussion about what it means to be “casual” vs “hardcore” … haha
For my self, I have totally played both ways but still allways been the same player. Those words doesn´t mean sh… for me. 
Though I agree that all these old mandatory mage-spells are boring slow: Frostfire ball, Frostbolt and Fireball. But still, how much do we use them in todays game compare to older versions? We have alot of abilties that are either instant or proc-based and mostly instant-casting, so I can´t see any big issue with this. Atleast that´s my personal thought.
