very stupid idea, that’s PVP it means PLAYER
VERSUS, watch out you’d be surprised… PLAYER
if you want followers arenas you should get nothing more than 5 flightstones each match
Will be cool to have AI-based bots as duel-training partners.
AI means that bots will learn how to play using data from real players.
So you can set difficulty level, class/spec, item LVL…
Aha, but imagine you could MIND CONTROL your battling alts whenever you wanted to.
I see my Druid change to bear form and attack the pillar the enemy mage is standing behind? I fling my popcorn at him.
This transfers my spirit into his body, and allows me to maneuver around the pillar (genius), cat form into a few cheeky nibbles, then he frostwave blinks and I get blasted because that’s supposed to happen, fair play, GGs, but at least I finished some of my popcorn.
Instead of the current system which offers no popcorn whatsoever.
I mean, if you want to create a team of alts that would fight another player’s team of alts and compete on a ladder and gear on those alts would increase your chance of winning, you’d have some sort of Raid: Shadow Legends “PvP.”
It could take a form of a mission table. it’d basically be fantasy league arenas idk if this would work.
Why limit yourself to arena and not require the followers on battlegrounds ? Imagine you are with other 39 followers in a 40 man team, same goes for your opponent (not plural, a singular person).
Why are people do like comp stomp doesnt exist where you face npc in a PvP battleground
As a PvP player Arena with bots (not the one people buy too perform better, i look at you Ele shamis) would be a great too bring new player too PvP that are afraid too learn under the pressure that there gameplay influence other and maybe some of them are toxic
It should have no rewards beside the learning curve you get and could include some tipps, like if you get interrupted often try too cancel your cast too force an interrupt that dont hit you
Or after a dead the game recommend you too not Lign of side your healer and keep tracking his position, or show you you still got your defensive cd avaiable and not pressing it
Could teach you about CC DRs etc.
Y-you think I’m unserious? I already lost an eyeball and both kidneys to the rogue from before. Then a warrior came along and stomped on my head (and slapped it as well). You trying to toast my booty too?
I almost think it’s inevitable actually. Follower arenas will follow (wink) follower dungeons since the consensus seems to be that it’s a great feature for learning certain ropes. I just also want to do something useful with my alts which are festering with neglect.
If that would ever happen you would likely see Follower battlegrounds. I don’t think a WoW Arena based on Quake 3 with bots is somehow going to appeal to the masses, bots will just stand there and let you beat the shinola out of them with their handful of abilities, you’re not going to learn how to play with other players.
Nah but I mean, it would still be PvP because you’d be playing against a real person’s team selection. And if you could participate and play any one member of your team at any time, I could see that being a bit more engaging than just following a tank around in a dungeon.
The other thing is that for principle PvErs they could get into PvP in a less competitive and more familiar way.
