Follower dungeons and new players

There is allready a little communication from the NPCs in follower dungeons.

What if their dialog is based on what they do,so new players can learn taunting, interruptions, spot healing and other important actions done in a dunegon?

I.e tank say “im taunting this mob off healer”,dps say “im interrupting this cast to prevent CC” etc.

That way new players could really learn basics without being shouted at to much?

I like that idea a lot. I would like to see an option come up at the start of the Dungeon so you can toggle it on or off.
For veteran players it might get a tad annoying so it would be good if it can also be turned off.

I think this would require intelligence, and the current NPC AI extends as far as Brann throwing a healing potion in the middle of a voidzone, then yelling at you “Don’t stand there!!”.

Solid idea tbh.

That will be a good option to be had

I think that’s a really good idea … and not just for new players.

The followers in a dungeon are pretty intelligent (or the ones I’ve done so far are). Far better than Brann in Delves who seems to have a death-wish.

Don’t stand there!
Just imagine brann in his delves.
Then see 4 people doing it.
Yes on the toggle!
Other then that good idea

Theyre not bad, they REALLY need to learn when to pop Lust though :joy:
