Follower dungeons not working correctly

hi,

set up a follower dungeon as i thought i would do a quick run, my shaman is level 67, so far on my first run had 3 wipes on the lost dwarves, healer always dies and i try to off heal but we wipe. not sure if they have undertuned the npc’s or i am just unlucky. shame as this is first time i have logged in retail for a long time, was looking forward to running my alts through dungeons with any hassles.

You need to kill them all at the same time. So they don’t bomb you from the ship. With humans we just ignore that. The npcs die though. I just did it with my level 69 monk , badly geared.

finally did it, the npc’s ai is not that great. I also was very surprised that you get zero loot from any of the bosses. With reduced XP, zero loot and dodgy AI there will not be a reason for many people to run these. Shame as i though it was going to be fun. Did not enjoy it, i hope they change it around a bit.

well its basicly a story mode option for people who do not want to group up with people. Ofcourse there should be less xp and gear if you replace people in group content with some bots

I’m not seeing any drops in these follower dungeons so there’s no point in doing them it would seem.

poor healers…

Exp was buffed compared to ptr.
Also npcs in some dungeons are badly scripted, yes.

I was really looking forward to finally getting my missing dragon manuscripts from those bosses.

Can confirm, I did 3 runs, got zero loot off bosses. Just gold. The trash drops their normal loot only.

that’s disappointing. maybe they want the solo player gear via WQ and after do dungeon solo for xp. But having culled XP i would go to level just via wq.

Hopefully it will be like Dragonriding…if player feedback positive enough then we might get changes implemented later.

Fingers crossed!

Follower dungeons should dorp loot, according to the info we received.

From Blizz own site: "Follower Dungeons are a fun and easy way to sharpen your skills in Dragonflight dungeons, gear up, or spend quality time exploring with a friend or two alongside your new NPC friends. " (https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/news/24054790/take-the-lead-in-follower-dungeons)

From Wowhead: Follower dungeons award the same item level loot as normal dungeons. At level 70, dungeons award item level 421 loot at 3/8 on the Explorer upgrade track. The loot scales with player level, the same as in normal dungeons. Follower Dungeon loot drops at the same rate as a normal dungeon, however NPCs cannot recieve loot, so any piece that would go to an NPC is instead awarded to a player, from their loot table. I did one, had boots drop on last boss, so drops definitely happen.

Overall I thought it was pretty cool, but then I’m easily pleased

The tanks pulls slower than my nan.

Tried to prod bot tank to pull more, he dies.

A 2 mob Tamed Phoenix pull in Neltharus is not what I expect any tank of any level to do, to then die when you add 2 Trainees to the pull is ridiculous.

Definitely needs some fixing.

I did Ruby Life Pools with the followers and I got loot from bosses and trash mobs (cloth, gold, etc). I probably did 95% of the damage. Haven’t tried this with a healing spec yet - maybe loot drop depends on killing blows, but that would be surprising.

edit: Tried this with me as the healer, using no damage spells, and I still get loot from mobs and bosses.

bad rng. i got 2 items on my dps lvl 61 in DF dungeon (4 bosses)
