…level up Hunter, and I never managed to pass level 30 - throught all the class iterations over the years. All other classes I have leveled to max level dozens and dozens of times over the years.
I am not attempting to troll, I am genuenly inrterested in what people who play hunter - especially BM one - find interesting in it?

I enjoyed the fact that it was so easy and convenient that I could focus on the game, story, environment etc. instead of being busy fighting for my life all the time.
Plus the pet. I liked having him around.

So far mine is level 22 and I’m loving my disengage jumps \o/
BM hunter kinda opens up only at end game tbh, I used to have the same feeling but forced myself to lvl a hunter long ago and it got better when it became more spammy in harder content.
I like playing my hunter. like the pet collecting too
Pets. Pets are fun, and it’s fun collecting them. It’s also a chill rotation, and makes for a great spec to play when you want to watch a movie on the second monitor.

Tbh it lets me help with raid callouts because I don’t have to think about my rotation.
You shpuld give Survival a try. For me it is one of the most fun specs in the game.
Between your 3 bomb types, fury of the eagle and mix of ranged/melee attack it is pretty enjoyable.

For me, it’s the ranged archer fantasy, that makes me, play them. Also it’s the closest class, you have in WoW, to the Amazon, from Diablo 2.
Cheers.
My hunter is by now a decrepit skeleton collecting dust beside many piles of rare animal bones dating back 14 years…
For me it is the pets that follow me around
It’s just chill. You can solo next to everything. MM is quite fun in group content even though BM is top atm. Survival… neh.
I like telling my pet to get ‘em and good boy etc. Laughing when they stand on tables. Same applies to warlocks really.
You can move whilst you shoot, you got a personal tank, great utility, loads of pets to choose from to tame…
Only thing is the mogs aren’t great.
I understand, but don’t you find it borring? There are basically no spell visuals and it all comes down to one skill almost - kill command.

It’s something I love about them. It’s calm on the eyes, no fireworks going off non stop. I’m not a huge fan of how ‘blinged up’ spells and abilities have become, especially when people stack it looks rather ridiculous to me. And for me it suits the archer or ranger fantasy better, it looks clean and practical.
But… you know, not everything is for everyone, nor does it need to be

Try a petless hunter sometime.

From the pets to the ranged attacks on the move to the wonderful class fantasy. BM hunter, to me, is pure perfection.
The one I never have been able to level up to max level has been druid.
Well, I guess you can add demonhunter and evoker to that list now too, but those are newer classes that I just have no interest in. At least with druid, I tried, but I find the gameplay soooooo incredibly tedious. Same with priest nowadays, but in vanilla I did level a priest to max level. Never again after that though.

I never understood the fuzz about BM hunter, but i used to love playing Marksman hunter back in MoP, then came the pruning in WoD and it hasn’t been the same since, such a shame, used to be a really fun spec.
Generally watching my environment or my bars not what I look like I am doing… but I like the bow animation.
