I would be absolutely okay with that kind of story.
Take that armor off, if you dare, and Iâd let you hug me any timeđ
Well you already have NaTHANOS. All you need now is the gauntlet.
Ya I Donât like undead scarlets - just saying if it HAD to happen which looks like it does, leave the forsaken alone. Attempting to turn them into good so called good guy undead given their history is a joke anyway.
As a matter of fact I did read the book, and I donât see why you would think I didnât. It doesnât matter.
Oh I donât know⊠Itâs not like in cannon lore, the sole act of using the powers of the Light hurts undead creatures. The Light is the main âweaponâ against the undead, it shouldnât be a way to produce more of them.
Sylvanas was like Calia, back in WC3. She cared. She was the true symbol of the forsaken. Blizzard changed her personality by adding more story bs plots.
Calia, on the other hand is not a forsaken at all. Hence, her appereance.
The forsaken are not a race as well. Thatâs another mistake blizzard did make. They are horde but not a race. So, adding a LF undead is totally ridiculous, In my opinion.
Itâs too late. BtS is already written.
Because you think that she cared about the Forsaken after reading a book of Golden. There is something wrong
Canon, not cannon
Why not? We speak about a fantasy world full of magic and ***pulls?
She have a good condition like Sylvanas and Nathanos?
Okay now I see whatâs the problem. Correcting my english language mistakes, while using âknowâ instead of ânowâ and saying âdidnât caredâ? You are obviously either a kid, or just stupidly arrogant. Either way, any further argument/discussion with you would be pointless.
I donât know how it makes me either a kid or arrogant. Could you explain how you came to this conclusion? Iâm curious.
I think blizzard shot them self whit the forsaken long time ago, a faction that never should have been playable in the first place, goblins or ogres should have been instead, and now they do not realy know what to do whit them anymore, one reason we have this bs lore we have now.
I donât really know what to think about Calia. I donât see her replacing Sylvanas honestly.
I personaly think that the best leader for the forsaken(if we replace sylvanas)
Is lilian voss.
Because she is the only major undead not in the alliance pocked.
Derek proudmoore is loyal to his family and by extention the alliance.
Nathanos blightcaller shoud die with his queen.
Calia Menethil is a lore abomination(light and undead are natural enemies to use to light to create an undead is wrong on so many levels)
Other undead arent well known enough to become a racial leader.
I would suggest the lich king but i dont think making it so that the lich king become the god of the forsaken and offers a people a second chance at life in undead would be a populair move.
Scourge and all.
Lilian voss has lost everything.
Her family has betrayed her, She has fought a bloodly campaign of revenge against the scarlet crusade and is trying to make the best of her condition.
She is as close to forsaken as any major undead has come without being forsaken.
Personaly: I would elect Eksdee for forsaken leader.
Atleast he is accauly forsaken and not an outsider stealing the throne.
Correcting grammar/writing mistakes is something children do when they have no valid argument to present. But if you are not a kid and still do that, while making multiple writing mistakes yourself, that makes you arrogant. Arrogant as in you are quick to correct other people, before correcting yourself.
any undead is a better option then calia. ANy horde char would be better leader for forsaken then calia(who should go the way of meâdan)
Feel like Voss was ruined to be honest before we had this interesting character who was anti nerco magic but also undead, the crusade was also on her list but mainly she did not want others ending up like her, so much she even raided scholomance as we know and it put her into this awesome rogue element to her.
But then bfa rolls around and throws in forced writing on her destroying her whole background arch its a real shame ah well but hey if some still like her thatâs cool.
If I had to pick someone else to lead Nathanos but only if he stops been a lapdog.
I havenât read most of this thread, so Iâll just give a quick take on the issue:
The problem with Calia as a Forsaken leader is mostly that she is just not forsaken. She didnât experience the domination of the Lich King, she didnât partake in the things the Forsaken had to do to survive and carve out a place in the world for themselves, she wasnât treated as a monster and rejected by the ones she loved, she hasnât lived a live of keeping her body in working condition because it just insisted on keeping falling apart, she has never seen a rotten monster when she looks in the mirror and, possibly most importantly: The Light itself has never forsaken her, it raised her up and marked her as special and beloved.
Thatâs one of the most important things a Forsaken leader has to be. They donât have to be a bitter, evil zombie monster, but they do have to be shaped by the horror of their situation.
If you want a Light-themed, virtuous Forsaken leader⊠take Alonsus Faol and flesh out his story of suffering after death and his way back towards the Light. That could be an inspirational Forsaken character. Calia just has the birthright, thatâs not much of a theme and less of a qualification.
Apart from Faol, who I really think could be an interesting choice, I guess they did position Lilian Voss in BfA in a way that could make her feasible as a leader. While I do think it didnât fit with the story we saw until now, she has been newly established as a compassionate helper for Forsaken who have problems dealing with their situation, she is wary of necromancy, but doesnât seem to be fully oposed to it anymore, especially on volunteers, and she does have the will and strength to fight when necessary. BfA Lilian is âhumanâ enough to get some sympathy, forsaken enough to be one of them, would be able to live in peace with other nations, including Alliance nations, if they donât bother her, and capable enough to lead. So I do think BfA Voss is a good enough choice for a Forsaken leader, although I think her character isnât very consistent with its past self and personally hate that. But the field of candidates is small enoughâŠ
So⊠in conclusion⊠my favourite would be Faol, Voss is fine, but Calia as a leader would just be spitting on Forsaken identity.
that is kind of offensive.
To all those iRL undead out there?
I think I would only be happy with Voss if she got the killing blow on Sylvanas - like she doesnât agree with what she doing, going to far with the nerco thing, after scholomance many speculated the banshee queen herself could be next.
I just feel Voss tho has had a U-turn in her story making everything before in her story pointless.
I totally agree. I feel her character was mostly switched out this addon. But it was swiched with one who is kind of an ideal Forsaken - at least for those who donât prefer Forsaken as unendingly bitter, vindictive, genocidal monsters. Itâs like what happened with Varian, really, just without bothering with the explanation.
