every time I enter arena, I have a fishing pole visible on my back and no Fishing gear buff to click off x)))
There is an NPC at the Ruby Life Pool.
Where you can set proffession gear visibility.
I’ve just set mine to
Limit my gear to only show when i’m crafting.

I did it too but it seems to reset every death or logout

I had a similar issue with an item appearing on my back even though I didn’t have it or a quest for it either. It fixed itself when I used my hearthstone.
It is starting to annoy me that if you do any mat farming or fishing you permanantly have the appearance. Even if you remove the buff. Makes me mad that I have had to spend hours farming rep or old content for mogs and now it gets totally destroyed by this. My miner permanently has the miners hat, my herbalist permanently has the straw hat and a basket on his back. Even through death I res with the same look. I am sure its a bug and should disappear if you remove the buff. I don’t want this look ever and should be an option to turn it off perma.
I’ve set it to not appear but I still get the buff every time I mine or fish. It just doesn’t work for me.
^This, there is one in Valdrakken too next to the tailoring area.
