The design focus is a lot more on exploration and doing what you feel like.

Exactly the way it should be played. I prefer M+, but i am loving just questing right now - i havent even left the first zone.

Might change tactics and just do the campaign then go back to the side quests for fun. Cant quite get the hang of dragon flying yet, but im sure i will soon enough
