Just wondering, has Forbidden Reach become like Korthia now, in that there is no real reason to go there now the new area has been released?
I ask because on the last couple of visits since the patch dropped, nobody seems to be engaging the rares anymore. Is there any reason to continue going there (for keys etc), or can I just mark it down to another wasted area such as Korthia?
For me the only reason to return is to summon the crafting rares for that much desirable skill point. Most who played through till 10.1 launch have pretty much got all the items and achievements. Only other players you may find there are miners and herbalism collecting mats as competition will be low. There may be a small amount of collectors still trying for some items but yes. It’s going to be pretty empty for a while.
If your create a raid group in the dungeon finder it is filled quite fast. Also people keep doing the storm event. So the zone is fine in my opinion. It is not like before 10.1 but it is fine as is.
You can still do it. I mean the rings still pretty good for alot of people. Aswell as obviously avhievements etc etc.
However as people finish everything they will stop going which will trickle down, sadly if blizzard was smart theyd start nerfing the rarss to make them soloable to combat that problem
The only thing, beside those you mentioned, is Obsidian Warden reputation and those 2-3 weekly quests. I hope we will get more ways to increase the rep with this faction, since I am not a huge fan of that island. Maybe I would be if they included expedition scouting packs and dirt piles.
