Force Shard Change

I have a friend on my server who has returned after many many years. Unfortunately he’s on the horde side whereas I’m on the alliance. I wanted to be able to duel him however no matter what we do, we appear to be on different shards.

Is there anything I can do to force a shard change? I find it really annoying that, despite being on the same server, both with warmode on, in the same location, we can’t see eachother.

You should go to an older zone (like somewhere in Outland), they often have far less shards.

Also if you are WM off you have more chance of seeing people from your own realm. You can still duel under WM off.
