This is lovely
Congratulations Aerythlea
Looks good.
Please don’t tell me that came out of you…
As a vulpera, it looks delicious, but there again I’d eat anything (just ask the GF )
I vaguely remember her. Was one of the nice ones I think.
Didn’t they literally just say they weren’t going to do this any more?
I don’t have a problem with her of course, matter of fact I rather liked her, but make up your mind Blizzard.
Yeah the wowhead comment section seems like it’s already deep in that discussion.
You wish… grow up!
Wonder when Swifty gets his npc back.
Why are they putting this in while Swifty’s NPC isn’t back?
Aerythlea never did anything of value for the game.
You have some problem with my size?
It’s s nice gesture.
But didn’t they want to stop doing that after the scandal went public?
I mean putting references / tributes of real life people.
I’m just curious.
whats a community manager and why does being one mean you should appear in a game?

Ohh i remember Aerythlea. Was probably my favorite CM, beside maybe Zarhym. Can’t believe it has been nearly 3 years already.
I’m not sure who this is, but they must’ve contributed greatly to the forums to have gotten an NPC of their own.
I remember Aerythlea well. She was a good CM, as far as I could judge, and community member, and she was nice. So this is nice to see, like Nethaera’s Light.
A CM is an employee of Blizzard who composes and disseminates information like announcements, liaises with various community communication points, like fansites, Youtubers, screamers. Answers questions, arranges interviews, and ofc minds the forums.
Being one doesn’t mean you should appear in-game, as is obvious from all the CMs that don’t. Appearing in-game seems to be a fraught subject these days, when the mere mention of a name can conjure a Twitter mob[*]. I presume that those who worked with her considered her a fitting subject for this tribute. You can question their judgement, ofc, but you don’t get a say.
[*] Reminds me of the SF short story “Flash Mob”. “A good 19thC SF writer predicts the motor-car. A great 19thC SF writer predicts the traffic jam.”
