Well, the Forsaken joined the Horde out of convenience (as the narrator states in the opening cinematic when you make an undead.) so I’m not surprised by these quotes. After all, Sylvanas herself has a quote that says “We are the Forsaken. We will slaughter anyone who stands in our way.”
Sooo…
It’s for the whole, dramatic effect of…
Gravel Batman Voice: I did what I was ordered! Therefore, I am not guilty! Braaauururgh!
Hey, it’s our thing.
We take in worthless things and somehow still win the day. Apparently that boils peoples blood to the point where they quit the game. Shocker.
Which war did the Horde won in WoW? Oh I remember. You won WoT because you zerged. At the end of the day it seems that you would lose if there wouldn’t be a stupid plot which destroy every effort of the alliance.
You sure?
Why don’t you ask the many other Alliance posters who keep saying the Horde wins at everything they ever faced?
It almost feels like the Alliance will do or say anything to colour the Horde the wrong way. Don’t pick that tone with me when you know there’s a lot of dirty blue out there I can use.
Go figure why I hate discussing these things.
Wanna count some Alliance victories? Second war, Invasion of Draenor, third war, Siege of Lordaeron, the last big faction war, Dazar’alor raid, soon the current faction war. You defeated the Horde plenty of times, yet a few non relevant battles seem too much to burden?
Cataclysm was a hard time for us all
Probably but I said just the truth. Nobody cares about the forsaken in Cata, no Wild God cared about Ashenvale in Cata, Malfurion was still passive af in Cata.
I really don’t care. At least the alliance doesn’t turned into a show.
Cata was relevant because Thermoregulation was destroyed cause of this. WoT was relevant because Teldrassil was destroyed cause of this.
I don’t not have anything against Horde players. it’s just the way how I see this all. I blame Blizz for this.
Especially for Night Elves and their fans.
Its pointless Huntfish, I had that argument on other Thread, proved as good as talking to a wall.
Sylvanas fanboys will squeeze all the juice from air and justify her actions, or … or “it has never been stated, so it never happened” is always good old way to go.
But oh well. . .
Give in to the Sylvanas fanatics today and they’ll want worse story tomorrow.
Soon they’ll demand more bad story and less character development. Eventually half naked undead female blood elves will take over the world, society will crumble and Azeroth civilization will come to an end!!
Well, there was some hint as to why she became warchief in this video.
In 8.2. She does something drastic. For all I know is that she is trying to be more than a mortal… I guess a god but it can also be that she is trying to find a way “to truly be at peace”
While she knows that undead are not a race but truly the damned…
Some may get confused over it and call them a race like as if they are living… but they are not.
After reading the book again “before the storm”, seeing her action and her becoming the warchief, I can say that…
I say, wait and see. She might look like she is headed to an evil path but her true goals are not truly evil.
She is cautions, smart and will try to get the job done in the best way possible. Meaning the burning of Teldrassil was a distraction for her original goal.
But… the sexy female Blood Elves remain hopefully, don’t they?
Half naked undead versions can jump into the malestrom and be impaled by the spikes of Deepholm.
Does it mean that they doesn’t look so good anymore?
Who looks good after being raised as some sort of undead aberration anyway?
Undead Elves look like Elves with an unhealthy skin, but Undead Humans look ridiculous mostly.
Bah!
Send them all through the Maelstrom. They’re causing the Lich King too much trouble anyway.
At least?
I mean, i’m willing to admit that not even the Horde is better in that regard with posters like Erev’jin around, but come on now.
She already found one. When everybody in Azeroth is dead or undead, there will be peace. And she will rule.
To be fair, remove the moralist speech of both Alliance NPCs and certain Alliance players, and all the “You are bad and you should feel bad about it”, and i must say that the Horde would be pretty much fine with itself.
I mean, most its problems come from a moralist perspective that the faction keeps burdening itself with.
Initially via Story (the important bit), but that then has some extra flavour added to it thanks to an artificial -and often ridiculous- additional charge dumped by some players that feel like Virtue Signalling over fantasy races such as Zombies, Orcs, or Trolls.
Wonder why certain people (both writers and players) think that the opinion of their enemies should matter to the Horde races. Or to any race, in general.
Its not as if the Alliance forms a quorum before taking each step to see how they are projecting their image.
Anduin sometimes does. But that doesn’t seem to be a trait Alliance players are specially fond of.
Just my two cents. Go on with the usual.
ps: Like a dutiful Poster, as expected, i’m posting in this thread.
I’m Doing My Part
I mean, if the factions did all automatically care for each others opinions about the other, then this game would have gone dry really fast.
