[Forsaken-RP] Corpsegrin Irregulars 💀

Joined by some new faces, the Irregulars were dispatched to hunt a pack of marauding Rot Hide gnolls who had been killing travellers for food, erecting fanes to the Scourge with their bones.

After tracking them along the Darrowmere River, the Forsaken saw the pack slaughtered to the last, making Hillsbrad’s roads safe once more. News has arrived that their next operation will take them to the mean streets of Undermine, where a mad goblin necromancer has fled following his escape from prison in Lordaeron

The Irregulars recently concluded a campaign in Undermine, hunting a rogue goblin necromancer who had escaped Forsaken captivity. A long, strange trip that saw them face off against the bureaucracy of Undermine’s Customs and Border Control, witness an assassination on a golf course, sneak into the Gallagio, steal, crash, and get hit by a car (not necessarily in that order), fight abominations in the sewers, and finally, storm the laboratory of their quarry.

If they were hoping for some R&R after their ordeal however, they are out of luck. A summons arrived from Shattrath and the Irregulars’ presence is needed on K’aresh. First though, they need to figure out how to get there. Perhaps the Consortium can be of assistance? Those fellas love a good deal, right?

These guys were really good fun to fight void monsters with. They only talked about eating me a couple of times.

The world fears for the darkness hiding beneath their bed. The Void is scary!

The Void? They look under their bed, they fear for the rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ Forsaken gunner who’s stared death in the eyes again and again.

Thank you for keeping the lights on for Forsaken RP!

You give us too much credit, but we’ll take it haha.

Oh and we’re still going to Westfall to burn down Mauro’s farm.

It was an absolute blast and an honor to fight alongside the Irregulars on K’aresh! All of them are amazing and an absolute pleasure to RP with, be it on the field or back in camp. I cannot recommend them enough.
Hoping for an opportunity to adventure (and scheme) with them again in the future!

Today is the Corpsegrin Irregulars’ 2 year anniversary. I suppose not a lot in the grand scheme of things, and to me the guild still feels brand new, but it’s still something! So thanks to all those who have passed through the guild in our 2 years of existence, thanks to those that remain with us still, thanks to all the lovely role players and guilds we have met upon our way, and a special thank you to Halfsilver and Hearthgate, the best officers one could wish for.

It’s been a great year of RP that’s taken us all over the place, from the Arathi Highlands to K’aresh. And having enjoyed interacting with the story beats of TWW through our roleplay, the guild now looks forward to what Midnight has to offer. So here’s to the little zombie guild that could. I am looking forward to hopefully many more years with my favourite zombies on Argent Dawn.

After nearly 2 years, the original post describing the guild was really due for an update. Thanks to Halfsilver for doing some of the new text and all of the fancy formatting.

The Irregulars are currently in Silverpine, hunting down a rogue element of the Bloodfang Pack who had dared attack a caravan, bringing a cargo of surplus Hallow’s End pumpkins from Brill to Hammerfall. When we are not doing that, you can probably find us at Southpoint Gate. At least until duty calls us further afield once more.

The Irregulars are currently in Kalimdor, looking to settle some old scores for the Forsaken. There can be no peace without justice after all, and ask anyone, the Irregulars are indeed men and women (and geists) of peace. We’ll be at the Crossroads in the Barrens until Wednesday next week, so if you are in the area, drop by and say hello.

In some OOC news, we are closing recruitment until after the release of Midnight. We’ve got quite a solid core of members at the moment and would like to see where we land with the new expansion before committing to any more zombies. We also NPC everything ourselves and while I prefer this approach over using raid markers, I have to admit that it doesn’t scale as easily. So for now, we are going to stay the (relatively) little zombie guild that could.
