[Forsaken RP] Sisterhood of Dark Mercy (Recruiting!)

You like the Undead? Cool.
You like nuns? Also cool.
You like nuns who are ready to rip apart enemies of the Horde like a bulldog with a piece of toast? Then this might be the guild for you!

What made you think of this?
Late night internet perusing, looking into WoW lore, watching horror films about nuns, reading 40k and the Sisters of Battle - You name it, it's probably inspired by multiple things: But mostly the more traditional Catholic/Christian view of nuns since the Warcraft priests and paladins mostly seem inspired by such.

So is this like a woman's only guild?
Character wise yes, behind the character I don't mind what you are, this is about the character at the end of the day and most convents/nunneries are women. However whether that will be purely forsaken or open up to things like 'undead elves' etc remains to be seen.
But for now...yeah, it's pretty much a Forsaken ladies guild.

Aren't there ENOUGH Forsaken only guilds around?
I mean...there's probably two I can think of off the top of my head and honestly I made this because I thought the idea would be cool. There's no pressure to join, it's just a fun idea around for people who might like to be part of it.

So what does/will the guild do?
Roleplay mostly! Take part in events, host our own events too!
Sermons, funerals for war heroes, weddings (if people want), war blessings, etc.
This can also be tied into RP-PVP as well as offering 'spiritual aid' to other guilds and the like.

Of course there's NO pressure and none of the events will ever be mandatory, so don't feel bad if anything comes up IRL and you can't make it OR you have another event with your friends. IRL and friends always comes first.

I have a Forsaken lady and I think this idea sounds cool, how do I sign up?

Current Ranks:

Mother Superior - The OOC GM (Myself) and IC leader of the Sisterhood.

Sister Superior - The Mother Superior's second in command's and OOC Officers.

Sister - The priestesses of the Sisterhood and OOC Veterans.

Acolyte - Priestesses well on their way to becoming sisters, the defacto regular rank OOC.

Novice - Brand new initiates to the Sisterhood and the newbie OOC rank.

Yes we are! Sorry for the quiet, the new forums were a touch tricky to fandangle but eventually I got the hang of it - we’re still open for recruiting and still on the look out for venues and open to do ceremonies of varying importance. <3

This seems to be such an interesting and amazing contest. I’m race changing my Horde character as we speak since I’d love to be part of this concept!

More variation in Forsaken RP is always welcome. I commend this guild for trying to add something different to the mix.

After the Northrend campaing we are back in Orgrimmar. We shall take this moment of respite to continue our journey towards better understanding.

Having met several of the good sisters during our time in the north, I have only good things to say about them; they’ve got the balance between “benevolent motherly nun” and “zealot of the shadow” absolutely nailed and are a joy to rp with.

Keep bringing your particular brand of awesome to the Forsaken, it’s fab.
