Forsaken Voodoo?

Hello, first time posting here!

Cutting to the chase, I have created loads of characters and for some reason I have always come back to one image. The Forsaken Voodoo Priest.

Aesthetically it looks amazing (I have spent a long time playing with the transmog options in collections!) but I would love it to be lore friendly.

I plan to play right from level 1, heading straight to the Echo Isles and doing my entire playthrough as a Darkspear tribesman. Is there any feasible way the Darkspear would welcome a stinkin’ undead into their ranks? Would he be viewed affectionately like that weirdo neighbour, or would he need to permanently watch his back until he had earned the respect of the tribe?

And how mad is Bwonsamdi going to be about it?

Any advice is welcomed, thanks!

Hey! So Trolls are not a fan of the undead at all because its an affront to their god of death Bwonsamdi. They tolerate the undead because their warchief leads the horde and because they have been an ally since almost the beginning.

As for the voodoo part. Voodoo is very hard to explain in Warcraft lore as they never specifically state what it actually is? Some Headhunters and Berserkers use voodoo but in a sense of Hallucinogenics and trances. While witch doctors and curse eaters (What mine is!) Use voodoo with their connection to dark magics such as curses and hexes.

If an undead went to the echo isles and begun to learn underneath the Darkspear they have a few problems. 1. They are undead as stated above and Bwonsamdi. 2. They used to be Human which to a Troll is such an insult because all Trolls despise Humans (Except Vol’jin because he spent so long with one)

I hope this helps sorry its not great news but I thought it would be nice to hear from someone who adores the troll culture

What poster above me said. Such a character would be affront to Darkspears.
Not to mentiont that trolls are very secretive about their arts - if they didn’t teach orcs about voodoo after so many years of close coallition then undead human has even lesser chance. He should consider himself lucky for getting out of there “alive”.

Echo Isles are training grounds, and even Thrall himself was rather avoiding this place and went there when he really had to.

Not to mention the entire necromancy/ undead thingy is quite a tabu for Darkspears. Not only it upsets their patron Loa, but they had quite some nasty experiences because of Zalazane.

So no, I don’t think it’s lore friendly approach.
