Dude I boosted paladin so I can run SoO on more toons (Iām going craaaazy help please) and apparently I cannot enter legacy raids for 24 hoursā¦ This is the dumbest restriction Iāve seen in wowā¦
Didnt want to create a new thread about this discovery but at the same time I had to unleash my frustration. Like whats the reason behind itā¦ Apparently itās 24h but sometimes it bugs and can last up to 72h. If Iām not able to run SoO before reset Iām gonna be a very sad troll.
Itās not a new thing, it was the same with DHs before the squish. Even if you leveled them to 120 in one go, you had to wait 24 hours after creating them, before being able to queue for legacy content.
This also was sad during timewalk - because Demon Hunters, even after completing the starter zone, were unable to queue for timewalking until after 24 hours.
why is it a thing though:(
Assumption: botters would use stolen credit card data, buy WoW, a subscription, a few boosts and run bots on them until the credit card owner notices and disputes the charge. 24 hours are probably enough time for most people to notice someone is charging their credit cards.
Could also be to prevent spam making dhās and dkās for holiday type dungeon loot
