i’m sure alot of you are aware of this but getting flagged out of no reason just because 4 people or 1 guy flagging on multiple accounts is just sad.
and in most cases (99% of the time) it’s a trolling flag. like these people doesn’t agree with the poster so they start spamming “trolling” as a report. which is clearly by itself an abuse.
this system needs to be reworked, by either increasing the flagger number, by dealing with these abuser or by something else.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal here in GD, I notice you frequent the PVP forums though.
In the nicest way possible, PVP forums are filled with degeneracy and saltiness.
Nah, one and same person can’t spam flag using different characters. However, forum cliques and gangs can do just that to censor opinions they disagree with by flagging those as “inappropriate”. Going against consensus is always a risky business.
General Forum is full of people who love to abuse the flagging system just so they can have their way no matter how bad they behave themselves.
It’s one of the reasons why the General section is globally seen as a cesspool
I think that the consensus on the particular subject you are salty about, is very, very unlikely to change.
You were warned it was a bad idea to persist, yet you doubled down… it was inappropriate… in fact if anyone needed a benchmark for inappropriate, one of your posts in particular, could have been used as a dictionary definition example.
To be fair if you are talking about the LQBT + Topic with the added P to it i can see why it got flagged none of that should have been spoken about on here in all fairness and no i did not flag it but i did feel very uncomfy watching you and another poster row for a long while .
If there was blizzard would pick up on IPs all posting at same time repeatedly, rumours started of this age’s ago and if true people would have been banned.
I know ive been bad in the past but i have to laugh big time at 2 of the posters in this thread thinking there actions are fine and there behaviour any better then anyone else’s when they act just as bad themself’s .
You have to be careful what you write as you will only end up in trouble again .
I know what you were trying to say back then but this forum is not the place to discuss that really it is not and you can read the CoC and understand why .
You can carry on blaming others all you like but at the end of the day you should and could have walked away and just left the discussion instead of pushing and fighting like you did and now you are suprised at the outcome ?
I got suspended from the US Overwatch forums once for using the copypasta of Alex Afrasiabi, for those unaware it’s an old forum post he wrote before joining the WoW team and the language is a bit colorful, what I did was censor all the bad words with *** and changed a few parts of it to make it work with Overwatch.
People actually flagged me for making a post to make people laugh, yikes.
No, I have never been surprised at any outcome. But that still doesn’t makes it right to allow bashing of a law-abiding demography of youth and children who struggle enough as they do.
Some of them do definitely use WoW as a way to escape of their reality, and there might even be a couple reading the forums. And I do not have the heart to leave any posts undisputed that might break their last straw of sanity or desire to live their life.
I am fighting this because I know a couple lawful youth that couldn’t stand it and did what many here wants them to do to themselves.
the sad part the post gets removed and there is no way even to appeal . . .
like honestly people are getting flagged by trolling for posting a class damage meter. where’s the logic in this.
like i don’t get it where’s the trolling part or the irritating part in posting a damage meter of a class.
Nope, that is not how post removal works unless a suspension/ban is given as a sanction towards the poster.
Unpunished post removals can’t be appealed in any convenient way, and the only option is to create a support ticket.
