Having beta giving an account-wide TL3 is simply unfair on every possible level. Either make the TL3 account-wide for everyone or make it per character for those who had beta as well.

That’s beta though. Beta flag is account wide and is not affected by the usual activity requirements.

People have survived having punishments and still retained their beta TL3 status because it’s a different level.

I wonder, while I never had a ban, I had one post flagged and removed in December 2020. Would this have made me lose my TL3 if it wasn’t for beta?

Indeed, and that’s what’s unfair. Some people literally got a permanent, account-wide upgrade on the forums for being lucky. Pure RNG.

Permanent regardless of bans? Alright, let’s say that’s not a big deal. Account-wide though? Ridiculous.

The trust level system is awful.

The only way I got it was from beta, if you try to get it normally and get mass flagged by someone using their 5 alt characters you can’t even get it anymore

Just do high raiding and get invited for beta raid testing kappa, no rng required.

It’s not all high end raiders that get into beta, they need people to do all the content so those that are happy to plod through and test all the content are needed :slight_smile:

Well, the thing is Blizzard has since a long while always invited the top (and i dont mean top 100, more like 500 to 700 i believe) raiders for raid testing during betas as soon as they started to test mythic as they need their raw data on said fights.

It makes sense to invite good raiders for raid testing.

But I know plenty of levellers who get invited to test too. Many of the raid testers aren’t much interested in testing questing etc.

Thats not the point tho. I said that if you do high raiding you get invited to the betas because of mythic testing. That others too get invited is not relevant.

Seriously, the ability to post pictures is not that dangerous or offensive.

I mean, the activity level of Twiluna and that she often doesn’t have it really gives the issue away.

He doesn’t have it because of constant push backs from mods. Once you get a “vacation” all progress is reset

I think if we had some way of seeing if we are anywhere near the required level activity in our own profiles would be helpful as well.

Twiluna doesn’t actually have TL3 but he does really want it back :smile: It’s not a lack of activity in his case though. It’s keeping out of trouble :wink:
