I havenât at all. He said he plays 40% of his games at 1800 mmr against Glads, R1s and streamers but provided no evidence of it. Heâs now backtracking and saying he said 'itâs a guessâŚa âprobablyâ (he never did). Too much pride to admit an exaggeration or something?
tbh im 90% sure i said âprobablyâ but the cntrl+F on this forum is so terrible I canât even search for words used by a user and get decent results. So yeah whatever, i meant probably 40%. I think thats a given based on the fact that you already know i didnât record my games.
thats fine. Doesnât detract from my point - which is that i donât like playing against glads/rank1s/streamers PROBABLY 40% of the time right at the start of the season when im just trying to have fun and typically trying a new spec - especially when in Europe most people turbo meta slave, so im not only playing an alt spec, im also playing against some meta stuff like rdruid dh, and then im outmatched skill wise by 1000+ rating.
notice how I said in my post âit isnât about being gatekeptâ as well. Weird the other guy isnât around anymore to see it⌠written in plain English, for all to see 
I agree 1-2 weeks I get all my alts to 1.8k, but itâs a lot of playing vs rank 1âs/gladiators/streamers when youâre sitting at 1.8k MMR.
I feel like itâs a lot harder to get 1.8k in week 1 than week 20, and thatâs why inflation exists.

Dunno what to say, pal. Youâre playing a fresh season of PvP from day 1 where Blizzard reduce MMR by a substantial amount and where high expâd players have to play placement games. If it bothers you that much, you should wait a few days or stop caring so much and just get on with it. Plenty of r1s, Glads and streamers arenât even that good.

I mean I met Merce, Chas, Bankmw recently so⌠At the moment it is a thing but you also meet pepegas at 2 k mmr.
In fact itâs my favourite part of the season as you can learn the most and challenge yourself. Games are way more fun than beating same pepegas at the end of the season when you help your friends.

yes - i understand all of this. the original point i made, farrrr back in the annals of history, was that i do not like this situation. i do not like that i have to play against rank 1s, glads and streamers. i do not like that they get trapped and are unable to climb. i do not like that the default response is âlol, just dont play for 60-120 daysâ - i understand the âsolutionâ - which is to either become a rank 1 myself and get stuck at 2300 like every other rank 1, OR, donât play for 60-120 days. I donât like those solutions - and i was saying there should be a third solution: add inflation at the start, not at the end.

wasnât the point. leeches will get his rating. leeches will be fine. if leeches wants the enchant he will get it. worst case scenario he will pick the best most giga FOTM spec like destro lock in S1 or ret pala in 10.0.7 or whatever and just grind games like everyone else. But, 1) i dont want the enchant, 2) my tabard is better than any tabard besides the wotlk ones imo.

Heâs already done it. In fact, he should actually be aware that the level of of solo shuffle mmr inflation right now is substantial enough that you can actually get âhigh ratingâ (relatively speaking with regards to the time of the season) with a negative win rate, as he is at 1800 with a 46% win rate.
There is no dispute that you face high rated players at low ratings on the first few days of the season. The dispute was over the objective statement that it was â4 in 10 gamesâ, which has now been retracted and replaced with âprobablyâ.
if he just stops believing the r1s gatekeeping and he will have chance, no one holding him back but himself and there is nowhere but up from 13 years of rivals, he cannot but gain
the latest - a dark rumour. that i have a level whatever classic character with full rank 14 gear that i reply to myself with, praising myself on. apparently i have done this 3x. i have found one example of where that one guy thinks iâve done it, but canât find the others.
heres one - go to source and look at the post above it. i screenshoted for him my entire classic character list after redownloading it just for him and he has yet to apologise⌠or tell me the other 2 examples
the latest 2 - he has made a ticket about me. i dont know why, but he did it right after i showed him my classic character list and proved i wasnât talking to myself in the third person via alts.
