Found a Draenei with a surname, Draenei don't have surnames

Found a Draenei in the newest patch in Uldum called “H’partho Adoros”.
Draenei are mono-named, they don’t have surnames.
Blue attention please?

Maybe its a nickname or something? Like Baraat the Longshot

Not a nickname, it’s a surname.
There’s no ‘the’, Ardoros isen’t even an object or action.

It means Quality Control in Draenic

No, I think it means “Blizzard took your gold, and your wife is next”

This one does.

Maybe he is halfbreed

I’ll trade her for bug fixes.

I guess it is something in Draenei.

Given what he does (no spoilers) + Blizz usually try to use real words and then alter them to sound like XY WoW language, Adoros could have something to deal with the word adore … maybe adoring, which could mean caring, caretaker or something similar in Draenei

Clearly, his parents both had a favorite name and couldn’t decide, so they just gave him two first names.

Who said it’s his surname? You can have a compouned first name.

H’partho sounds more like a title than a name, it could mean something with Adoros being the actual name maybe.

It makes NO sense for a Draenei to just have a second name.
Ardoros sounds Draeneic, but no Draenei thinks ‘I’ll just take a second name!’

No sense, none.

Two part first name like Billy Bob or Mary Sue.

Its rare, but Draenei do seem to have some odd naming conventions. I mean that Jessera of Mac’Aree. Its like…umm…what? What makes you so special you get an honorific including a city? Are you an infamous poker player or gambler? No? Then you don’t get to be called after a city. You’re a damned Mushroom vendor… If anyone is 'Of Mac’Aree, I’d have thought it would be Velen, Kil’Jaeden or Archimonde.

You know, someone who is kind of a big deal…

Anyway, there are other Draenei with surnames in the game, for whatever reasons, so it clearly can happen. I mean it is like our world.

I get sick of being asked my name, giving it, and people going “Your full name” “That is my full name, first name and surname”
“Everyone has a middle name, and we need to full that in for our records”

“Sorry mate, but ‘everybody’ doesn’t have a middle name, I don’t, nor does my brother, or my parents”

“But everybody does!”

“No! They quite blatantly do -not!- Why not just invent a middle name for your records, but just let me know what it is, so that I can write it down, else I won’t remember it because it isn’t my bloody name!”

Naming conventions are not always set in stone, for example we know that Blood Elves have two names at least. So what is Jer’ome’s last name, or if you want more important characters, what are Champion Vranesh’s last name, or Liadrins, or Rommaths?

I’ll grant you, Draenai do not seem to commonly have last names, but there have been Draenei with last names knocking around since the introduction of the species in TBC, so it clearly is not impossible…
