Founders point dissapoint

the housing maps are terrible for multiplayer and im tired of pretending theyre not

i cant even make house next to my friends because the plots are unpleasant and mashed together with ugly npc stuff like graveyards and small human houses that destroy my elf vibe

please fix or i will quit this feature

I have seen Founders Point and yes there are areas near graveyards and areas that have small human houses, but there are many other areas where you have open space and can build as you like. Ofc that might be different if you are in a neighbourhood where some of these prime spots have already been taken, if it’s a guild or community settlement then it can be difficult if the more suitable spots for you have been taken. But if you are in a public housing area, there is nothing to stop you visiting other public housing areas until you find the spots you and your friend are looking for

ye but i want to be neighbor with my friends. and theres only 2 pretty spots when theres potential for 10 if they just remove uglyness

Yes I understand what you were asking, I was trying to offer an alternative.

But it all depends on if you are prepared to visit other public housing areas to find suitable plots for you and your friend(s).

If it is a guild and/or community plot that you and your friends belong to, I don’t really see what you can do if other players have already claimed some of the spots that may have better suited your needs.

This comes down to personal views, if they just made it with endless spots with nothing else other than the plots to build on, yes there may have been more space, but then for me it would lose some of the personality of the area. I personally liked the themes added in that I liked that there was a farm and windmills and a lighthouse - even the graveyard to be fair. The same as the NPC’s wandering around, it just added to the theme of the ‘neighbourhood’.

I understand the frustration around the founder points situation, and constructive feedback is definitely the best path forward. If enough well-reasoned feedback reaches the developers through Discord, Reddit, or whatever platforms they monitor, there’s a good chance they’ll review it eventually. Just keep in mind it’s unlikely to be a high-priority issue, so expectations should be set accordingly.

The part worth stressing is that throwing a tantrum or making ultimatums rarely gets results. Saying “fix this or I’m done” doesn’t carry much weight, especially for something this minor in the grand scheme of development. I’m sure they’ll address it at some point, but quitting player housing or the game over it isn’t going to move the needle for the devs. It may not be the answer anyone wants to hear, but that’s simply how it works.

its not an ultimatum, ppl dont care if i quit this feature, its just my only resort which is sad cuz its a nice feature. it would be nice if devs shifted their priorities for me preferably before end of the weekend however

best you can hope is they add every expansion new map zone for housing and hope it’s prettier than Founder’s Point.

You might not like the graveyard, but I do. My house is near it.

So before you go changing the map to suit yourself, think about others.

As for elf stuff, you can keep that unless void elves.

Who knows maybe they’ll make a new map for elves.

You think the small human houses are ugly, I think the elven ones are, especially night elves.

I keep a small human one, for the simple reason out of the choices we presently have it suits the spot on the land better.

I agree people all have different tastes, wanting different things in a neighbourhood.

I dont like the Horde neighbourhood, yet others enjoy it. Essentially the two neighbourhoods are humans and orcs.

I would love Eversong Woods setting, others would love places suited to their races, and homes too. Lets hope they add more in the future.

I’m not keen on the horde map either.

On the alliance side, I went for a wood that’s a bit on the dark side, trees without leaves. On a cliff top with fog and shipwrecks in the bay. Graveyard nearby, a perfect setting. Even got a few cobwebs around the place. Plot 8

Yeah, they do need to add more, preferably with buildings that are suited to the neighbourhood.
