There are no unique classes left in RPG lore…save the Bard; which wouldn’t really work in this kind of environment.

Ohhh there are loads.

My favourite is the Illusionist. A master of illusion and deception. Basically a pet class that exclusively fights using summoned illusions.

I also like the idea of non-combat classes. Sort of like Master Doctors and Master Entertainers in SWG. They give lasting buffs but not sure how it would work in WOW.

Illusionist is just a subclass of a Magic user - not really unique. Granted it’s possibly addable though.

I don’t know SWG characters I’m afraid - but I can’t see medieval RPG fitting in Sci-fi toons. It’s bad enough that we’ve got mechagnomes and things like that.

But I’ve drawn this thread off topic so sorry abou that

Last chance to fix faction imbalance or boom :smirk:

100% super serious confirmed allied races and their mounts.

WoW has had a strong Steampunk theme since the Tinker unit of the RTS games. It’s as much a part of the RPG and specific flavour of Warcraft as a high fantasy elf or wizard.

frankensteins monster type, can discharge electricity/magnetism from neck bolts, can remove arm to fight as a tank spec and alchemy to heal with.
psionicist, from d&d.
sentient blobs of ooze that take control of different things to perform roles … a giraffe healer etc.
professional traders, throw coins at you or bazooka diamonds.
swashbuckler, dances around the place whilst attacking . good dodge. … maybe a bit too dh? granted.
bomber, calls in a plane to strafe the area, cant attack close but it heavy hitter at range. tech support from the sky, healer.
angel, good healer and radiant melee class

I’m actually kind of hoping we get a vampire race like Venthyr (If the San’layn aren’t viable because “too many elves”) as an allied race. I mean we already have werewolves and undead as races, with vampires being the only thing missing there. And it’d be very interesting to play an “evil” or a sort of gray race if they come to the Alliance side.
Or if they turn out to be Horde (which every unique race wind up going to) then we’ll finally get to play an evil race that isn’t the forsaken for once.

Also Blizz if you’re reading this, for the love of god add Ogres and Broken Draenei.

We’ve been datamining some juicy stuff over in our Discord and we discovered that Night Fae Fauns are actually listed under Character Races and not Creatures!
For more info check out some of the customization options we highlighted:

And the unique running animation for Fauns:

Another thing to note is that female Faun has same texture rigging as any playable race character, while others still have ‘half-face’ texture.

I believe we’re being set for Shadowlands Covenant races in distant future, probably once story escalates and gives us more.
It would make sense with Night Fae to join Alliance, Venthyr Horde, Kyrians Alliance and Maldraxxians Horde.

Same has happened in the past with Vulpera when it comes to datamining.
It’s quite possible Blizzard is setting us for a nice surprise here.

I’m not sure we will get new allied races, but if I had to choose, those 4 covenant ones would be a great adition.

I want that Minecraft horse XD

Why are you making a new thread about this ? there’s already one created about an hour before you made this one.

You’ve made nearly 19k posts yet it appears you still haven’t learnt how to use the search function and are ignorant of the forum rules and guidelines.

11:57 vs 12:27. I have checked it out for you. “30min” is the correct accusation. I haven’t seen the topic when I opened my own.

Listen, I really don’t have to humor your behavior and lies at all, you know this, yes? Get your facts straight before you throw things around you don’t even have checked yourself.

Or atleast mok’nathal with a new model if the ogre size is an issue.
Although there are small Ogres in game already, They’re also smarter than the others.

I don’t get it for maldraxxians tho. They don’t seem to have a distinct species. Aren’t they all different types of undead stitched things? Maybe I’ve missed it but I haven’t seen a “core” race for the necrolords as of yet they’re just “undead”. Maybe I’m wrong here.
Whereas Fauns, Kyrians and Venthyr are shown to be distinct and gendered.

They look like uncolored ogre version of Fionna from Shrek, They literally ARE ogres. The ogres.

I mean army of playable mini Rexxars would be acutally great horde addition
Sadly numbers of these lore wise are really tiny. To some extend, Rexxar is only (well) known one.
