FPS drop in raids. Please Help

Hello,

I have big fps problem.I’m getting 100-120 fps at Zuldazar ( Great Seal ) but in raids fps is dropping to 5-7. I’m just using 3 weakauras and some addons.

( Game is recommending me to play at 6 graphic quality and im playing at 1 )

My System :

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 (3gb)
Ryzen 1600
8 Gb ram (2400 Mhz)

My Addons :

ElvUi
DBM
Raiderio
Auctinator
Details
Routes
World Quest List
HandyNotes
SimulationCraft

That’s all. I dont understand why my fps is too low at raids. If someone help me i’ll be appreciated. Thank you.

Hey, i have same GPU and the old FX-8350 CPU with 12gb ram @ 1600 and im running pretty much fine on 7 (raid) with reduced A.Filtering to 8x and lowered shadow quality. (not zergs 20-25 mans)

Are all your addons updated ?
i had exactly the same problem back in uldir and my problem was 2 out of date addons, my fps where dropping to 1 on mythrax + ghuun

my graphics on 1 as i said and filtering is bilinear all my addons updated i dont know why i have this problem. im gonna lose my mind…

Dont know my friend but there should be an ez fix for you if you just contact support via ingame ticket and upload them those files from your pc they need.
Have you tried contacting support?

Heya,

A good start, but addons can cause some strange issues. Please go through the steps to fully clear your UI (addons) and test afterwards (without installing new addons).

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

i was on holiday. I tried it but same problem continues. If u solve my problem i’ll be appreciated.

Go to Karazan the TBC raid, pull all mobs from the dining/whatnot rooms, stand still and check the FPS. With enough mobs it should recreate a raid encounter performance (while they won’t do any damage to you) and allow you to test every addon and in game settings and/or log system sensors with HWinfo to look for system problems. Disable all addons and then turn them on one by one to check if one of them does create this problem (if the problem isn’t there with no addons active).

Also you can run userbenchmark to check for low percentiles on your GPU/CPU/storage which could indicate some sort of system bottleneck (thermal, ssd getting slow, power limit etc.). Other possible sources: combat logging, network latency, odd VRAM behaviour on the GPU.

You can check the pull “benchmark” I use in my article: https://rk.edu.pl/en/benchmarking-and-analyzing-world-warcraft-performance/ - plus some tips on analyzing game performance.

i’ll try tomorrow man thank u

If needed I’ll be online somewhere tomorrow tonight, we are on the same realm
